The Rev. Dean Einerson
The Rev. Dean Einerson serves as Priest in Charge of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Sussex, where he brings a deep commitment to pastoral care, thoughtful preaching, and building welcoming Christian community. Fr. Dean is passionate about helping people encounter God in everyday life and creating spaces where faith can be explored with honesty, curiosity, and hope.
At St. Alban’s, he works alongside parish leaders and volunteers to nurture a congregation rooted in worship, service, and fellowship. His ministry emphasizes the Episcopal Church’s call to love our neighbors, seek justice, and grow together in faith.
Fr. Dean values the relationships that form within parish life—whether in worship, shared meals, study, or outreach—and believes the church is strongest when people walk the journey of faith together.
Priest in Charge
Kathy Sonier
Kathy Sonier serves as the Parish Administrator at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Sussex, helping ensure the day-to-day life of the parish runs smoothly. From coordinating communications and managing the church office to supporting clergy, volunteers, and parish ministries, Kathy plays a key role in keeping the many moving pieces of parish life connected.
Often the first point of contact for visitors, Kathy helps create a welcoming and organized environment where people can easily find information, connect with the church, and get involved in the life of the community.
Her work behind the scenes supports the mission and ministry of St. Alban’s, helping the parish stay organized, responsive, and ready to serve the wider community.
Parish Administrator
Sexton
Mike Knapp
Mike Knapp serves as the Sexton at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Sussex, caring for the church building and grounds and helping ensure the space is ready for worship, gatherings, and the many ministries that take place throughout the week. His work supports the life of the parish by keeping the church welcoming, well-maintained, and prepared for everything from Sunday services to community events.
Often working quietly behind the scenes, Mike’s dedication helps make St. Alban’s a place where people can gather comfortably for prayer, fellowship, and service. His care for the physical space of the church supports the parish’s mission of hospitality and community.
Music Minister/Organist
Terri Grennier
Terri Grennier serves as the Music Minister and Organist at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Sussex, leading the congregation in worship through music that enriches and deepens the liturgy. Through organ accompaniment, hymn leadership, and musical coordination, Terri helps create a prayerful and joyful atmosphere that invites the congregation to fully participate in worship.
Working closely with clergy and parish volunteers, she helps shape the musical life of the parish, selecting music that reflects the seasons of the church year and the spirit of the community. Terri’s ministry supports St. Alban’s commitment to worship that is beautiful, meaningful, and rooted in the rich musical tradition of the Episcopal Church.
Our Vestry:
The vestry is the elected lay leadership of the parish, working alongside the priest to guide the mission, stewardship, and long-term health of the congregation. Together they help discern priorities, care for parish resources, and support the ministry of St. Alban’s.
